My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The room was extremely comfortable and nicely furnished, but the lack of a door for privacy was a downside. The 4:15 check-in time was a bit inconvenient.

Rooms
7.0
The room was extremely comfortable and nicely furnished, but the lack of a door for privacy was a downside. Some areas were in disrepair, such as the mirror, dirty soap areas, and hair.
Service
8.0
The service was quite accommodating to our family and other wedding party guests. The staff was not only friendly but also very helpful with various requests. The gesture of passing around champagne in the lobby was a nice touch.
Location
6.0
The location was a mix of positives and negatives. It was difficult to walk to the waterfront, but being close to the ocean and popular restaurants was a plus. The views from the hill overlooking the Harbor were magnificent, providing a true Newport vibe. However, the high price for the claimed four-star status and additional resort tariff detracted from the overall experience.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was average. While the Easter brunch was delicious, the need for daily menu changes affected the overall enjoyment. The homemade jams were a pleasant touch.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were acceptable, but an extra $20+ per night charge for unspecified amenities was off-putting.

The service from all staff members was exceptional, making our stay truly memorable. The dining experience was good overall, although some dishes were pricey. Recommended for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Newport.

The hotel offers stunning views overlooking the Harbor and is perfectly situated for walking and sightseeing. However, the room could use some updates and repairs, and there were extra charges added to the bill without explanation. Dining options were good, and the service was friendly and helpful.

Rooms
6.0
The room had only one tiny window with limited space, needed updating and repairs, and lacked eco-friendly amenities like recycling options.

I felt mixed about my stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully appointed and in an awesome location. However, they weren't ready until an hour after check-in time and weren't cleaned until the next day. The noise level was minimal, but there was an issue with a tattered American flag. Overall, a somewhat pleasant experience with some drawbacks.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were nice with minimal noise, but there were delays in readiness and cleaning. However, the location was fantastic.
Service
9.0
The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to make our wedding stay memorable. Everyone, from bartenders to housekeeping, was accommodating and nice.
Location
8.0
The location was amazing and walkable to everything we needed, striking a good balance between town and beach access. Some minor issues like noise and the flag were noted, but the staff made up for it with their welcoming vibe.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was a bit overpriced and disappointing, except for the toast sandwiches, which were excellent. The historic and romantic vibe of the hotel added to the overall ambiance.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, with room service and valet parking available. However, the pricing for dining was not in line with the quality of food offered.
